’04 Porsche Boxster with Tequipment Goodies for Sale

It’s been a few months and I can say I have not missed my Porsche Boxster one bit.  Of course we are in the middle of the fall and there have not been many top down opportunities.  I can tell once March rolls around I will be in full on denial, the only fix being another 986.

Something like this would do the trick.

The seller says -

“Selling a fantastic Boxster S  . This vehicle is in perfect condition ,no dings or scratches. The paint is perfect .The car has always been garaged and has never been tracked.Service records are available . Service has been by largest US dealer Champion Motors . There has never been any paint work ,glass, and interiors are perfect .All the tires match and have less than 5000  miles. The rear left wheel has minor curb defect.

This car has been specially prepared to  Champion Motorsport custom GT3 standards . Red leather Porsche OEM hand stitched steering wheel ,matching leather on console and console compartment cover and the seats piped in red leather. The OEM Porsche mats are red leather trimmed. Graphics on the car are Porsche GT3 modified to fit the Boxster. This is a high quality German decal that can easily be remove with any permanent marks . The interior has REAL carbon fiber parts from German. The center console.the inner door storage covers , the lever  door covers as well as the instrument cluster panel are Real Carbon Fiber. There is even the hard to find Porsche umbrella in the right sill recession.

Factory Options : 6-speed. On board Computer,Cruise control , Carrera Wheels , trunk mounted 6 disc CD player , optional radio package ,Auto Climate control ,Porsche Windstop [deflector], black OEM mats . Alum Porsche Pedals.

The list price was over $55,000 with $ 6000 added porsche appearance and special options . The car comes with the full Porsche Official Registration Certificate and the Window sticker. This car is a real show stopper . You will not find a Boxster  S in this condition and low miles for this price. Search the market and compare .”

All dealer grandstanding aside this is a neat car.  I am a big fan of cars heavy on dealer installed factory upgrades, they add quite a bit to the car but do not increase the value/asking price all that much.  I can even live with the GT3 decal work, if that is not your thing I am sure it could be removed at your request.

All this for a buy it now of $23.5k, that is too much.  But bidding starts at $15k with no reserve, that is quite a value there.  Of course you would have to wait a few months to fully enjoy top down driving unless you leave in a mild climate or invest in a very warm jacket.  Either way this could be a great buy if you are looking for a Boxster.

While I won’t buy another Black car, that looks like a great Boxster. Low miles in an S. I’d love to try it. If it goes for 15 ish, I will cringe because my 99 Miata will cost more than that once I get it to where I want it. (with an SC kit)

I agree, especially on a 986. Being so low to the ground does things to the front of the car. The clear bra is a nice touch though.

Len, this is not the area to post your car for sale. If you would like to feature your 986 let us know and we can put together an ad on the home page.
