There does not appear to be anything on the car from DP other than the DP on the back, not even a DP spoiler. Looks like a run of the mil ROW version of an 84-86 targa with a non factory wide body. Forget the 300 bhp claim unless they can provide dyno sheets or a list of some pretty extensive mods to that motor. Also the 915 gear box which came with that car is suspect on a 300 bhp motor, its not strong enough in the long run for that kind of power.

By the way there were no problems with the 3.3 turbo motor in the 80's, Porsche just didnt ferderalize it for the US so there was no turbo sold in the US from 80 to 85.

Not a bad car if you like that sort of screaming 80's look. The price is ball park too so long as there is a service history and you get a PPI.

This is a neat car Dan! I wonder how collectible this will be in 10-15 years? As it stands it can be driven daily as the '84 cars are very easy to live with. If the new owner ever decided to restore and show they would have a very unique asset.
