1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S ‘Silver Rose’: One of the most Rare 951 Configurations

October 4, 2008 by Dan

With less than 400 cars produced in this special color combination, it is always a car that makes you take notice when they become available for sale. Definitely one of the most sought after amongst Porsche 951 enthusiasts. Take a look at this 88 Porsche 951 Silver Rose on Roadfly:

quote from seller’s Roadfly listing:

Excellent car- stone guards and seat covers since new. Maint is up to date, belts were recently done (<10K miles), and all records since new. Tires have less than 10K, brake pads are less than 5K, no leaks, everything works properly. Car has M030 Koni coilovers, S4 brakes, LSD, brake ducting, burgundy plaid interior, clear bra, Alpine with XM and 6 disc CD, 10 speaker option with new Infinity Kappas behind stock grills.

While the interior won’t meet everyone’s approval, it sure is very 80′s German isn’t it?! Plus I’ll bet it ends up wearing better than leather. Regardless, it’s a collectible and at $17k, it’s a whole lot more approachable than the last 944 Turbo Silver Rose I posted on my old blog.

Good luck with the sale Colt!

This is a truly fantastic 944t. And as of yesterday (12/14/09) I am the proud owner of it. I do not miss my Dinan S2 BMW M5 (e39) at all! The pictures shown here are still very indicative of the overall condition of this well kept example.
