1990 Porsche C2, 1988 BMW e28 M5, 1989 e30 M3 S50

Speed-linking the posts today because I’m swamped at work! Here we go:

1990 Porsche Carrera 2 on Portland Craigslist for $13k. This is a suspiciously low asking even with the bad clutch, oil leaks, respray, mileage, and low a/c. Then again, it will cost several thousand to correct all those issues. Is this just a case of a realistic seller? I didn’t they existed!

The C2 is no big deal at that price who knows what lurks in that thing which would be a money pit. I ama big 964 fan having owned just about every version of the n/a 964 made but that car is not a screaming deal without knowing what lurks.

The e28 M5 is one car I really love and its probably worth close to that money but I would drive the piss out of it and by next year it would have 25k miles on it and be wirth 2/3rds of that.

The other e30 M3 has bee offered for sale around for a while and is a nice car I imagine they want a lot more then its probably worth and its not my kind of car with that motor in it, none the less a really nicely done car.

This car is listed on ebay by our Shop. Not for consignment by you. You take our ebay listing and post it for yourself? This car has not been around for a while. It was sold by our shop before it was finished in August,2007. It was listed on ebay just 2 weeks ago for the first time since it was sold in 2007. I personally built this car in our shop and have performed all services on it since. How to you list this car as “On Consignment”?

    Jeff,

I think there is some confusion here between the blog listing and the comments. I post cars that I think are outstanding examples and the comments reflect reader opinions. I don’t believe the site depicts the eBay listing as it’s own, but I’d be happy to add language to help clarify if needed.

Let me know how I can help and good luck with your sale!
