1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet

The Porsche 964 went relatively unnoticed for quite some years. The rush on air-cooled Porsches changed that, with the immense popularity of its successor and predecessor, the 993 and 3.2 Carrera, respectively, increasing values on this 911 steadily. This Carrera 4 Cabriolet for sale outside of Philadelphia is one of around 4,800 C4s produced out of a production run of just over 17,300 964 Cabriolets. This particular car has just over 60,000 miles and also comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

This 911 HAS BEEN reviewed by an independent certified mechanic in accordance with PA state inspection regulations and it passed without issue!

I’ve always had mixed views on the 964, as I was always more of a fan of the cars it was sandwiched in between. But this is an important 911 in its own right, the first to bring four-wheel drive to the table after its debut in the 959 supercar of the 1980s and was the first 911 to feature a fully automatic gearbox, with the 4-speed Tiptronic transmission being an option. We saw a 964 C2 Targa cross the $60,000 mark back in May. That car had around 10,000 miles less on the clock and was a rare Mint Green example. At almost $50,000, this 964 is in the ballpark for what you could expect to pay for a run of the mill 964 Cabriolet in good condition. If one could bargain a little closer to the $45,000 level, it would be a decent buy barring any unforeseen issues with the vehicle.
