These Z4 Coupes haven’t taken off in value as much as some of the late model Z3 based M Coupes, but they have the chops to be a future collectable. When I first came across this Z4 Coupe, I thought it might be an Z4 M Coupe, simply due to the color. Visually, there’s not too much to differentiate a Z4 M Coupe from the Z4 Coupe, so its somewhat easy to mistake the two. We saw a 2007 Z4 M Coupe with 54,000 miles go for $23,599 back in October 2014. Given the mileage, this one is priced in the ballpark. The shape might not be as iconic as the original Z3 Coupe, but there’s a lot to like about the Z4 Coupe in it own right. Years down the line, along with the last BMW M3 Coupe and BMW 1M, the Z4 Coupe will be viewed as one of the direct links to the original Ultimate Driving machine formula.

I love the Z3 and Z4 coupes. In fact, I own a 2000 M Coupe. However, there’s something not right about the Z4 build quality. If you look carefully, the fit/finish and material quality is not up to BMW standards. Weird.
“HIGH PERFORMANCE BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR” and “HIGH PERFORMANCE LEATHER UPHOLSTERY.” Those must be some fast seats.
The interior is atrocious!
