Old School Mercedes W123 280 AMG
Spent a couple late nights surfing German eBay (what you haven’t?) for rare, German unobtanium. My first spot was this Hartge 2.1L Display Motor. And then my mouse found this sweet old 82 AMG:

Radio muss noch angeschlossen werden. Radio still needs to be connected.
Türe hinten rechts hat unterhalb der Zierleiste eine leicht kleine Roststelle. Rear door right below the border has a slightly smaller body rust.

Roughly speaking, as in what I could figure out with the Google Translator, looks like this classy old AMG has a buy-it-now of about $22k and about 150k miles. It features a more potent 210hp motor with headers, intake, and camshaft. It also has a rare aftermarket AMG Silver Arrow steering wheel, and front spoiler. Sounds like a couple of minor dings and rust spots, but overall a tidy and original package. Of course at this price, due diligence would be required to ensure they were original pieces and authentic. But since I’m just fooling around tonight, I’ll just enjoy the pictures.

Gorgeous Black 2002 BMW M Coupe S54 with Only 14k Miles!
There’s a dark gray S54 powered M Coupe trolling around town and it’s got my radar up. Then this very low mileage BMW M Coupe appeared in my feed reader from Roadfly. Only 14k miles, black on black, and with the absolutely wonderful S54 M3 motor. Take a look at these pictures from the gallery website:

You will not find a nicer or lower mileage M Coupe than mine. It has always been garage kept, pampered, and only driven in nice weather. I am the second owner. Both myself and the first owner only ever used it as a weekend, drive-in-the-country toy (as the ultra low mileage suggests). It has never been abused or taken on the track. It has always been dealer serviced (by both myself and the first owner). I have all of the service records as does the national BMW registry if you want your BMW dealer to research the VIN for you. I always warmed the car up to temp before driving.
Since you are looking at this ad, you probably already know how rare the 2001 and 2002 M Coupes are. These were the only 2 years that BMW graced the M Coupe with the 315hp S54 engine… straight out of the (heavier) M3. With a total of only 690 of the 315hp (S54) M Coupes built for the North American market, mine is probably the lowest mileage, most pristine, non-modified example left in the country. Aside from regular dealer service, the only thing I had done to the car was a light window tint (35%) which was done with the best tint material (Formula 1 Pinnacle series), and it was done at Accutint in Bellevue, WA. It also has 4 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires with less than 4,000 miles on them.
Sex on wheels should be the description for this car. After driving a 2003 e46 M3 with this motor, I’ll bet this smaller and lighter car absolutely flies with the same engine. Clean M Coupes with the earlier S52 motor seem to fall in the 18-22k range. The asking on this one is $24.5k, which sure seems like damn good value to me with the low miles and preferred motor.

1988 BMW M3 E30 Evo II For Sale in Canada
I so wish the U.S. used the 15 year exemption rule like Canada so we could get our hands on cars like these legally! Here is number #488 of 500 total built worldwide on eBayMotors with a buy-it-now of $35k:

My brother bought this car in England in February 2006. This is Evo II No. 488. Current mileage is 133,300 kms or 82,800 miles. Options from the factory are sunroof, heated seats, headlight wiper system, cruise control (currently inoperative – never saw the point in fixing it) and cassette holder. All standard equipment is intact including books, mats, first- aid kit and warning triangle. Only thing missing is the original sound system – this was replaced at some point with a AM/FM/CD system of decent but not outstanding quality.
The car is bone stock with the exception of Bilstein Sports, front strut brace, E36 timing chain tensioner and an oil pan baffle from Turner Motorsports.
There is currently only one issue with the car. There is a surface rust bubble on the sunroof panel about the size of a quarter. It has not grown in the last three years but nonetheless it exists as he was concerned about the ability to match the original paint. No other rust of any kind. The car has just had a valve adjustment and runs flawlessly.
Questions about the Buy It Now Price? We’ve searched all the popular European sites such as mobile.de, autoscout24 and Pistonheads and it appears that there are currently eight Evo IIs for sale in the world right now. Using current exchange rates, prices range from a low of US$33,000 to a high of US$46,000. That price is before you start the painful process of getting the car across the ocean to North America.
While the EVO II sports many improvements over the plain Jane e30 M3, my favorite on this particular car has to be that bad ass plaid interior! Love it!!
