Garage Queen E28 For Sale

Found a very very nice 1988 E28 on eBay, this car with just over 116k on the ticker looks to be in original condition and well maintained. 

From the seller’s ad:

“I will keep it short and to the point. This 1988 M5 is flawless. I have dealt with any and all issues , bringing this to show condition. If you are an enthusiast of the 1988 M5 , you know that these are not 10k cars , nor are they 25k cars. My price is very reasonable. I have all receipts dating back to new. This car has led a privileged life. You may call me with any serious questions. Please only call if this is the car that you have been looking for.”

As they say, brevity is wit.  Seems as though the seller has a well cared for car and a realistic understanding of its worth.  Anyone looking for a clean E28 has to consider this an appealing option.  Bidding is at a little over $11k with four days to go, I think a reserve of $17k sounds reasonable.  Only time will tell.

    THere are always e28 M5′s coming up for sales just as nice for the same price and a lot fewer miles. Nice car probably fair value at 17k just have to wait for a guy like me who loves the e28 M5

    Case in point: A E28 surfaced locally today with 79k miles for $13.5k.

    I’d love to own an original M5 one day. You really need far more than photos to bid on one though.

    Bidding ended just over $12k, reserve not met.
