These MKII GTI's are wonderful to drive. The styling has held up over the years and they are pretty darn reliable. Examples like this are becoming increasingly more difficult to find. This is the last car made before the cars became pigs. Would I rather drive a 16v GTI than a clean E36 M3? 10 years ago, I would have said no.
