2003 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe with 963 Miles

This is kind of silly and I have quite a few questions, but this definitely has me intrigued. Here we have a Black on Black 2003 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe, located in San Diego, with a completely insane 963 miles on it. Yep, fewer than 70 miles per year. Usually posts about the 996TT are about performance value. This one is not about performance value. I am very curious whether it will sell though. The asking price – $110K – is quite high, though given some of the asking prices we’ve seen for highly collectible versions of the 996TT that price actually is lower than I’d expect. I’m still not sure it will sell, but this is certainly one to keep an eye on.

1982 Porsche 930

I love a red interior. They come in a variety of shades and a variety of contrasts and as a general rule I like them. Porsche long has been a producer of vibrant red interiors. There are few other marques I can think of that produce as bright a red interior as Porsche does.

But bright red can be tough and this one, on a Black 1982 Porsche 930, I’m struggling to really get into as much as I normally would. The contrast is so stark that the brightness distracts rather than captivates. The pictures will tell the story better than I can describe so let’s jump right in:

2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe

After yesterday’s 996 Turbo S Coupe I thought it might be worthwhile to look at an obvious alternative. As some readers noticed quite quickly, with Turbo S prices moving up that brings into play a few other cars. The two most obvious are the 996 GT3 and the 997.1 Turbo. Because it’s the much closer comparison I’ve chosen the Turbo for this post. Also because I’ve featured the GT3 quite a bit over the past year. I love them and have thought prices were quite good considering what you’re getting. It’s ultimately what I would choose were I in the market. But the GT3 isn’t a Turbo (obviously) and for those looking for that combination of luxury and performance that only a 911 Turbo can provide the 997 makes the better choice.

Here we have a Basalt Black Metallic 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe, located in Ohio, with Sand Beige leather interior and 26,483 miles on it. It has sport seats, the sport chrono package, and a 6-speed manual. With 480 hp on tap you’re getting more power than the Turbo S and arguably a much better looking 911 both inside and out.

2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe

The last 996 Turbo S I featured turned out to be from a seller that we all weren’t too happy with. The pictures weren’t great and the price was way too high. That’s a bad combination of attributes. So let’s try again with one that certainly presents a lot better and from a seller that on the surface seems to be of a higher caliber. I can’t speak to price since it isn’t listed on the seller’s website, but my hope is that this reserve auction will shed plenty of light on where the market currently is valuing the Turbo S Coupe. I’ve seen a few more come up for sale in recent months compared to past years, and there were never many of these, so the time to pounce may be near.

Here we have a Slate Grey Metallic 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe, located in California, with Black leather interior, a 6-speed manual, and 31,437 miles on it.

1986 Porsche 930 Coupe

It feels too long since I featured a Porsche 930. I believe it’s only been a month and my last feature came on the heels of a bunch of interesting early 930s coming up for sale. Since then, there hasn’t been much. But such is their desirability and my own love for them that at some point I yearn to find another and search even deeper. I think this one is well worth it.

Here is a Prussian Blue 1986 Porsche 930 Coupe, located in Connecticut, with a matching Dark Blue leather interior and just 20,225 miles on it. Among other things it came optioned with sport seats and specially ordered Platinum painted Fuchs wheels. I really like the contrast provided by the wheels.
