Own 50% of the 2007 Ruf RGT Domestic Market
The Ruf RGT is a re-badged Porsche GT3 bored out to 3.8 liters with various exhaust, ECU, and intake upgrades. These tweaks decrease 0-60 times over the “stock” GT3 to 4.1 seconds which can only be described as neck snapping. Ruf also massaged the suspension, fitted lightweight 19 inch wheels, added custom body panels, and created custom interiors to order for each lucky owner.
This example is 1 of 2 ordered for the US market and had an original sticker of $258,000.
2007 RUF RGT for Sale:
From the seller -
“RAC Performance is please to present this extremely rare 2007 RUF RGT; one of only 2 RUF Vin RGT’s ever built for the US market and an actually RUF VIN car.
This RGT is finished in Lake Placid Blue; a paint colour special ordered by the previous owner to match his highly collectible 1960′s Fender Stratocaster guitar of the same color.
This stunning RGT was built with the following options:
PCCB Ceramic Brakes
US Version
Linear Gearing
Seat Backs In Body Color
Aluminum Faced Gauges
Wheel Centers Painted
Six Point Belts
Offered for $198,900.”
Yup, $200k can buy you that kind of exclusivity. This is not for the Porsche purist whose blood flows Guards Red. This is for the kind of buyer that orders a car sprayed the same color as a freaking guitar. You can almost rationalize the price given that “stock” 997 GT3′s regularly fetch $120-130k. Either way it is an excellent example of Ruf build quality and attention to detail.
