Seems odd that all these things were done in the engine compartment and yet everything seems to be covered with a uniform covering of dirt. I guess it depends on when the alternator,etc was replaced. I bought an 83 Gti a few years ago and the first thing I did was to detail the engine compartment so I could get a look view of everything. Seems like this car could use a cleaning in the engine bay for the $ they are looking for.
