1984 Porsche 911 Targa DP For Sale in Portland, Oregon

Here’s your chance to get your hands on a Porsche modified with period correct pieces from DP Motorsports. I spotted this Porsche 911 Targa on Portland, Craigslist ($20500, 85k original miles):

1984 Porsche 911 Targa Carrera DP For Sale

quote from Craigslist ad:

This is a beautiful white 911. Not your regular 911. Besides being a European Model it has all the bells and whistles. Approximently 300hp. Origional BB Rims. New low profile tires.
Race clutch, Dual stainless steele exhaust. Whale tale. 964 cams. Same as the Turbo. 930 body with wider steele fenders. Just put in a New starter and Battery. Car is Garaged
and not driven much. 85,000 origonal miles. Engine had a total rebuild at 62K. Origonally purchase in 1984 for 50k which includes the shipping. The origonal owner wanted the
turbo look but not the turbo during that era because the Turbo’s had allot of engine problems. Ordered the car from Porsche but made Body Modifications at DP Motor Sports in Germany.
before having it shipped to Seattle. Never wrecked and is in excellent condition. Must see and drive to appreciate. Have all the Paperwork on this car to verify. Thanks

This isn’t the first time we’ve posted a DP modified 911, but this one is a bit more attainable at only $20k. And 85k original miles would be good for a regular run-of-the-mill 84 Carrera, let alone a gray market spec car with DP goodies and BB wheels! I like it and the price seems about right too. Hope it finds a good home!

1987 BMW 325IC b+b For Sale, as in Buchmann of Germany!

I had no idea b+b did anything other wheels and steering wheels. Here is a complete car modified by the tuner! Unfortunately this auction ended before I could post it, but considering I’ll never likely see one again, I’m going to post anyway.

1987 BMW 325ic on eBaymotors, modified by b+b Buchmann:

quote from seller’s eBay listing:

This is one of a kind! 1987 325IC BB with 34,900 original miles. This car was imported to New York in Dec. 1986. B+B Auto Exclusive Service in Frankfurt Germany. Here is more info on B+B http://wikicars.org/fr/Buchmann . I am the second owner of this car. This car has been Garage kept the whole time. I purchased this car about a month ago. I have changed the timing belt, adjusted the valves, changed the valve bolts. valve cover gasket, manifold gaskets, break fluid flush, transmission flush, differential flush. The car came with a 3.64 open differential, I have changed it to a 4.10 lsd. The original differential is included with the car. This car is in like new condition, the A/C works. Sunroof is in perfect condition. There are no leaks of any kind underneath this car. Engine runs super smooth. This car has a performance CAM that came original with this car. Also sport suspension. Momo steering wheel. The car has front fog lights and rear fog lights, there are 2 buttons for fog lights.

$12,500 for a 325ic with only 34k miles is of course high. But the rarity of the parts on this car probably easily make up for the difference. And it’s a euro-spec car so it has the nice bumpers and probably an easier breathing motor. For the e30 uber enthusiast, this car stands out big time!

Here is some background info on b+b at wikicars.
