Chuck’s Black on Black e28 M5 is Back on the Market!

Chuck emailed me earlier this week to let me know that his beautiful black on black BMW e28 M5 is back on the market. Check out his earlier listing on this blog and his new Roadfly listing for more details.

And he now has a video of the car in action:

Look at how clean that car is! I’m a big fan of this car and I hope the right buyer can give this M5 a loving new home.

1968 Porsche 912 For Sale in Bahama Yellow

The early Porsche 912 continues to look like one of the last remaining bargains in the classic Porsche market. While 911’s of the same vintage can frequently be seen in the high 20’s for clean garden varietals, and over $100k for the early S cars, the 912 continues to hover in the low 10’s depending on mileage and condition, yet shares many of the same charms that make the 911 a winner. Many owners would argue it’s at least 80% the same experience.

Check out this 1968 Porsche 912 For Sale on Pelican Parts Forums:

The owner of this car has dropped the price $1100 in less than a month’s time and would seem to indicate a motivated seller. While the motor isn’t the original, it is rebuilt. And this isn’t going to be a concours car anyway. His website has many articles on the model and the classified ad on Pelican Parts is refreshingly honest.…

1991 BMW e34 M5 in Alpine White

Alpine white on black leather. Does it get any better on an M car than this? I don’t think so either. This 1991 e34 M5 looks very clean for 104k miles, and if the documentation of upkeep holds up, $11k sounds like an absolute bargain for this legendary modern classic.

Listing on Roadfly for this 1991 BMW M5 in Alpine White in MA:

quote from Roadfly listing:

1991 BMW M5 The e34 M5 was a very special car. Each was hand built by a team of two skilled craftsmen. This one has been Garaged kept and is in excellent shape. It has 109K Miles. It is white with black leather interior. The car has upgraded Dinan supension, Dinan chip and cam gears. Absolutely Immaculate Interior and All power functions operational. A/C blows Strong and Cold. Extensive service history.

There are a lot of if’s when it comes to e34 M5’s, and there is homework that must be done for this car. But on the other hand, it wasn’t too long ago that cream puff e34 M5’s were in the $18-25k range. If it took a few thousand to get this car into really sharp condition, you’d still be ahead of the game.
