1977 Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera – REVISIT

10521_20150319_19.58.56

The beautiful Ice Green Metallic 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera we featured in early June is back up for sale, this time rather than a reserve auction it comes simply with a Buy It Now price of $119,500. Given the need for an engine rebuild that’s a tough ask, but cloaked in one of the absolute best colors from its period there’s definitely potential here.

Motorsports Monday: 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera Cup – REVISIT

The 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera Cup we featured back in May is on offer again, with a price reduction of a little over $10,000. It’s still not pocket change, but with air-cooled prices on the move, this rare, competition focused 964 is sure to be a top prize in the vintage Porsche portfolio years on.

1969 Porsche 911E Targa – REVISIT

10521_20150319_19.58.56

The very pretty Ossi Blue 1969 Porsche 911E Targa, which has been fitted with the engine from a 3.2 Carrera and which we featured at the end of March, is back up for sale this time as a reserve auction. Since it failed to sale with a BIN price of $74,500, this auction should give us some sense of the value of this somewhat unique 911E.

1992 Volkswagen Corrado SLC – REVISIT

The low mileage 1992 Volkswagen Corrado SLC we featured back in March has reappeared. As I prepare for another trip back to Europe in a few days, one thing I enjoy is getting to see all the vehicles we are denied here in the US. A car that sticks out in my mind lately is the Volkswagen Scirocco. Perhaps Volkswagen might reconsider sending this sports coupe back to the US with the falling value of the Euro, but it seems unlikely. The last sports coupe we would see from Volkswagen would be the car we see here. Whether its the earlier G60 or later SLC, good examples are in short supply these days. This particular car has triggered a bidding frenzy, so it should be a good car to watch to see where the market currently stands for the VR6 engined Corrado.
