I remember the Z3 as one of those cars that had a massive amount of hooplah surrounding it upon it’s launch. Along with the 318i sedan, this was the first BMW to be built in the automaker’s new Spartanburg, South Carolina factory. The car also starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in his first James Bond movie, Goldeneye. In addition to the press, a little known fact was that the Z3 was available with some interesting, unique colors, such as this clean example in Türkisgrün (Turquoise Green).

Up for bidding is our gorgeous 1998 BMW Z3 Roadster. This car is in excellent condition with low mileage. The paint is very glossy with no scratches dings or dents, the black top and rear window are both in excellent conditon, the black leather interior is in very good conditon. The car has been well maintained and always stored indoors. The color of the car is Sea Foam Green which is a very rare color from BMW. The car comes complete with a rear wind screen to reduce buffeting, a BMW flannel rear window protector and a BMW factory tool kit.
While the seller describes the color as Sea Foam, the proper name for the color is in fact Turquoise Green. If you are interested in seeing more of these unique colors and some of the BMW Individual examples, click here. While the 1.9 liter engine was no screamer, at least this example has the manual transmission. The color and low miles makes this Z3 all the more attractive. If I could sell my 2007 C230 right now, I’d buy this car myself. I like it that much.
