To achieve the weight drop, the M5 CS utilizes carbon-fiber front seats, twin bucket rear seats in place of the standard bench, less sound insulation, and a carbon hood, front splitter, mirror caps, and rear valance. Also included in the $143,000 base price are forged 20″ wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, revised suspension tuning, and gold/bronze details.
