1977 Porsche 911S Coupe – REVISIT

$_4

The eye-catching Polar Blue 1977 Porsche 911S Coupe we featured last month is up for another reserve auction. Bidding last time ended at $33,100 so we’ll have to see if this time around bidding can move high enough to reach its reserve. We’ve begun to see values for these early-911s rise somewhat and with such a nice color as this 911S should garner plenty of attention.

1993 Porsche 911 RS America – REVISIT

$_4

We’ve featured this 1993 Porsche 911 RS America a couple of times and it remains the highest mileage example we’ve come across. It has seemingly been for sale forever. Why feature it again? Because in every instance I can recall it has been listed only with a Buy It Now price, at which it failed to sell, and here it FINALLY has been listed as a reserve auction. It’s possible, in fact likely, that the reserve here is similar to its usual BIN price, but the market has made clear that this isn’t an $80K 911. With this reserve auction I hope we can get a sense of where the market values this car. There’s plenty of time remaining and for now bidding sits at $32,655. So, where will bidding end?

1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 Coupe – REVISIT

$_57

The Bitter Chocolate over Gold 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 Coupe we featured back in early July is back up for sale, this time as a no reserve auction. With the starting bid set at $77,000 this is priced higher than where the previous reserve auction we featured ultimately finished ($71,100), but the price isn’t too far off so I imagine there will be interest here. While the market for the US-spec Carrera 2.7 is not nearly as white hot as that for the Euro Carrera 2.7 MFI, these cars still are performing quite well and might be one of the examples that continues to increase in value as the market takes further notice of the mid-year 911.

1983 Porsche 911SC Sunroof Coupe – REVISIT

$_57

This is somewhat of a long-term revisit as we originally featured this beautiful Ruby Red Metallic 1983 Porsche 911SC back in April 2014 and it has now come back up for auction. Looking at our original post it looks like this 911SC was bid up to about $31K, but then the listing was ended prior to auction’s end. Perhaps the seller wasn’t getting as much bidding as hoped, but either way it is back. Air-cooled 911 values have continued their upward trajectory over the past year, though at a more gradual pace than when this car was first for sale. As I wrote before, the combination of low miles and an excellent exterior color should garner this SC plenty of attention and should it sell I imagine it will make its new owner very happy!
