Much like the original Mini, there was a plethora of special editions that came and went during the Volkswagen Golf Mk2 production run. Just when I think I’ve heard of them all, up crops another one. This Golf Boston was a 1989 only special, featuring unique trim and exterior graphics. This particular Golf has led a fairly easy life, with the equivalent of under 100,000 miles being traveled.

Selling my really great VW Golf 2. The car has given me almost four years of loyal service.
TÃœV and AU are new, the brakes and the tie rod ends were renewed for MOT. Oil change, plugs and air filter are also great. Radio with CD and MP3. The car has wheels with all-weather tires.
In insurance terms, the car is on OCC as classic cars are very cheap to maintain. It is not tinkered with but one should not expect a new car. Twenty five years can not pass without being unscathed. I offer (please) to each prospective buyer to come inspect the car and test drive it. The sale price is binding.
Due to its age, the car is ready to drive for hobbyists, sold as is with no guarantees or warranties. Exclusion of liability for material defects. The car should be picked up one week after the auction ends, in 58332 Schwelm

Some of these special edition Mk2 models can be a bit campy, but this particular one is subtle enough. With the Snowflake alloys, has a decidedly sporty flair about it. It’s certainly not the fastest Golf out there, but there’s something honest about these Mk2s that has always drawn me to them. If bidding doesn’t take off and stays cheap, it would be realistic for the VW fan in the US to consider importing, given this has now hit the 25 year old threshold for legal importation of non-federalized vehicles.
