1991 BMW 325ix

This 325ix looks like a complete time capsule, but digging deeper reveals an E30 that has been subtly enhanced and revamped at no small cost to the previous owner. The whole drivetrain has just 60k miles, and the interior and exterior have been updated to look even better than stock. In addition to a high-quality repaint, the door moldings have been shaved to provide a clean contrast to the ix’s standard M-Tech body kit. No badges or spoilers here, just a very sharp 4-door sedan hiding all-wheel drive and a smooth inline-6. The interior has been updated with some leather/cloth Recaros to continue the slightly-better-than-stock theme. The biggest detractions are the overall mileage (236k) and the autobox, but the pristine condition and overall package still have the seller asking for strong (but reasonable) E30 money.

Young’s Collision in Maplewood, NJ performed complete paint job and they also shaved the moldings off on the doors like an E30 M3 style, in addition – the engine bay was also painted. The shop also installed brand new Euro Hella Black/Tinted headlights, slim HIDs/Xenon, 325iS Lower front Lip, new sunroof seal, new window seals, they refinished factory 15″ basket weaves and installed brand new, custom BMW e30 comfort 325ix interior featuring front heated seats and rear ski pass seat with real recaro cloth and leather. New Roundels (Front and Rear), custom all weather rubber mats (front and rear)

Total bill from the body shop is $8,500

all in all, not counting the cost of the clean 325ix, over $12k were spent on this awesome BMW. Yes, you can buy one cheaper, but to build something similar to this will take lots of time and money, trying to source the parts, taking it to the body shop and going thru the hassle of putting it together piece by piece. This car is not perfect but it is a very very nice E30 that looks and drives great !

You will not regret owning / driving this beauty! Please keep in mind that you are not buying 2015 Honda Civic with warranty, this car is 25 years old and although, most of the components were updated / upgraded, it is still a vintage BMW.

With a manual, this 325ix would be just about perfect. The quality of the work is apparent inside and out, providing a package that looks like it could be brand new but featuring individual touches that make it more than just another E30. All of this on top of the excellent AWD, all-season ready ix platform makes it a very attractive option for those who love classic sport-luxury. There are a lot of great options around this price range, but with mechanically low miles and exceptional aesthetics, this 325ix will make a very cool, very capable daily driver for years to come.
