For all the high end exotics we feature here at GCFSB, there’s a part of us that still appreciate more modest transportation. The W202 C-class is one of the most affordable of the Mercedes-Benz modern classics. There aren’t any new cars you can snag these days for under $10,000, so for under $9,000, you are getting a lot of old school Mercedes-Benz engineering with minimal miles for not much coin. Sure, at the price, there are a lot faster and more exciting cars you can get for the money, but few might be in the condition we see here with this C280. If this car is as good as it looks and passes a pre purchase inspection with aplomb, there are fewer more sensible luxury buys I could think of at the moment than this car.
