They look like hippopotomi to the E38’s panther. Today’s slick long-wheelbase looks perfect on M-parallels and mean in black on black. The 4.4l V8 and auto transmission have covered 67k miles, not bad for BMW’s millenial workhorse powertrain. Eleven years have been kind to the car but not its value, so this would be a very cost-effective way to be a badass.
