Andrew’s very orange Boxster reminded me of another special from the same time. Volkswagen launched a special run of GLI and GTIs called the Fahrenheit Edition in 2007; the GLI was Imola Yellow, and the GTIs like you see here were Magma Orange. Otherwise, you got the same wheels, interior package, and performance – they were primarily an appearance package. Today’s car has below-average mileage and some mods; how does that affect the price?

I’ve always really liked the color on these GTIs, and the paintwork here appears to be pretty nice. The black interior is also in reasonable shape from what is shown, though there aren’t really extensive photos. The Charleston wheels have been painted black and the taillights have been blacked out; it also appears to have been lowered. There’s no information on whether or not the 2.0T has been modified, but I’d wager it’s a safe bet the answer could be yes based upon the rest. Mileage is below average, but as many of you often note – it’s in Florida, so buyer beware. Pricing? Pretty high for one of these today; $9k gets you into a newer GTI pretty easily, so you’d have to really want this special edition. I’m not sure the orange juice is worth the squeeze on this one.

Nice little car just right for someone under 20
