1997 Porsche 911 Turbo

I hope you like gold.

This is a 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo finished in paint to sample Opal Metallic with matching wheel centers over a Cashmere and Mocha leather interior. I don’t know what more to really say about it. It is a unorthodox combination that probably no one would order today, but then again we do have people paying $13,000 to paint their GT3 in Ivory. Still, I think we can appreciate this car for what is it and admire from a far. Because that is exactly what I’m going to do after seeing the price.

Road Rich Motors proudly presents this unique paint to sample 993 Turbo in Opal Metallic with interior to sample, as well, in a sharp cashmere and brown two-tone. The stunning combination makes this already highly sought after air-cooled Turbo a 1 of 1. With only 42,500 miles the car is in excellent condition as is documented in the Porsche Classic Technical Certificate. It was equipped from the factory with standard Turbo features and the addition of the 6-disc CD changer option, as well as driver’s lumber support. Several more tasteful interior leather options were added including the dash, roof liner, pillars, and quite a few other pieces that add to the luxurious atmosphere. It has been retrofitted with the new Porsche Classic factory bluetooth stereo. Outside, color-matched, multi-piece Speedline for Porsche wheels give it an aggressive stance and maintain it’s expensive look. Props to the caretaker on this one for adding the Porsche Classic Communication Management system and providing the Porsche Classic Technical Certificate. One thing I did noticed when researching this one is that those wonderful Speedlines with color-matched center sections were not on the car but rather chrome Turbo Twists. Researching this one also turned up its previous asking price as well.

This one did have an asking price of $220,000 and now offered up for $300,000 after the upgrades. That seems awful steep considering the strange color combo but I guess this is the price you pay to be different and unique.

Holy sh*t, that car is FINE.

There is nothing strange about a gold Porsche. A gold 928 starred in Risky Business. The Scottish band Mogwai has a song called “Gold Porsche.”

I think this is as classic as they come.

a 90s car in an 80s color scheme…not for me, but I am sure there are those who love it.

Very Nice sophisticated colour combination much more class than the usual tow rope who orders Black, Silver, white, Grey, or Red

What a gorgeous car !! The gold is awesome…the brown inside I am not sure. I would have just gone with a full black interior but definitely not turning this one down if someone gave it to me !
