And the S55 is still good for 425 horsepower – and it’ll still rip your face off. 0-60 is gone in 4 seconds and it’ll demolish the older generations in a straight line. Early models have also gotten pretty affordable; look around, and you can find a nice M4 coupe in the 20s now! So while this one looks like a Competition Package car, it’s not – there are some M Performance bits tacked on and it’s got Competition Package wheels, but it left the factory as a standard F82 M4. Granted, a well-equipped one; a heated steering wheel, head-up display, the adaptive M chassis, Comfort Access, adjustable lumbar support for the heated front seats, adaptive xenon headlights, and quite a bit more. The modifications are good brand-name items and certainly make the car look purposeful. But let’s be honest, we’re here for the color. Does Laguna Seca Blue on an M4 work? Yep! Is it worth twice what you can buy a Yas Marina M4 for? That’s a much harder sell, honestly. The same dealership has a nice Yas Marina example for some $16,000 less right now, but look around and you can find them for even less money. Granted you’re losing the special color and will have to accept more mileage.

Funny. I love blue cars, but can’t stand LSB. Didn’t like it on the E46, nor do I like it on this.
LSB may look better with a much lighter interior.
So glad to see that BMW’s latest cars are still as powerful and fast as ever! I was a little worried about the new G80 model, but it seems to have met all of my expectations. Keep up the great work, BMW!
