1991 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC

The Mercedes-Benz 560SEC quickly went from another used, old Mercedes to a modern classic that everyone suddenly wants. Yes, the W126 coupes have always been more desirable than the sedans but recently a huge demand gap has grown between the two. Finding a coupe for sale at typical well-used Mercedes prices is rare or when you do find a really nice one, be prepared to shell out a lot of money. The latter is the case today for this 1991 offered for sale in California.

2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupé Edition 1

It’s been awhile since I’ve featured a new car and today’s car is a good enough reason as any. Mercedes-AMG rolled out the W205 C63 S Coupe Edition 1 as a road going tribute to the same car that competed in the 2016 DTM championship. This is great if you are one of the few people in the United States who actually watch the DTM but 99% plus of the people you come across will think you just went a little crazy with the yellow vinyl. But I guess if you are the kind of person who both has the ability to and wants to drop $94,000 on a C-Class you don’t really care about others’ thoughts.

1980 Mercedes-Benz 300CD

I’m always on the lookout for golden era Mercedes in rare colors to add to my small collection (more on that soon!). We’ve reached the point where despite millions of these cars being built and nearly all standing the test of time well, any nice one is starting to creep up in value — even more so if it’s in a color that isn’t earth tone. Today’s car that is up for sale in New York is the ultra-rare Inca Red paint that I’ve only seen on a handful of Mercedes over the years – let alone a W123 coupe.

Roll the Dice? 1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG 5.5

Put down your pitchforks and extinguish your torches, that’s not needed today for this Frankenstein creation. What is needed is a little bit of perspective and thought beyond what you initially see – a bagged car with a wild color wrap and bolt on fender flairs. Normally these things would be off-putting to most enthusiasts, but are the bones of this build sound? Let’s take a look at this W202 AMG for sale in California.

Viktor Knavs’ 1962 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Coupe

There is a good chance you have no idea who Viktor Knvas is. Don’t worry – I didn’t either until researching this car. There is probably also a good chance you might be hearing a little more about Mr. Knvas when his son-in-law is inaugurated into the White House in next month. Yes, this car was owned by the father of the future First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump. So, if you find obscure political memorabilia appealing (or just like a really nice W111 coupe) let’s check out this 1962 220SE.
