I’ve expressed my enjoyment of the Audi Coupe Quattro, a loveable nugget of a coupe packing all-wheel drive and a little 20V 5-cylinder. Â It’s maybe not the most extreme Audi, but it does a lot of things well. Â It looks good, if a little less taught than the ur-Quattro. Â It should handle decently with some fun factory go-fast bits and a manual tranny. Â And though a little coupe, it’ll get you where you need to go with all four wheels turning. Â Every once in a while a nice example pops up, and this is a great, updated but unabused example from Utah.

// ]]>1990 Audi Coupe Quattro for sale on eBay
From the seller:
Garage kept, Summer driver, low miles 97,636. The car has many upgrades from engine, intake, exhaust, new ecu, suspension, wheels, brand new tires, paint, tint, stereo and so much more. I have a set of the original speedline wheels with tires, original air box, radio, and other misc parts. This has been a amazing car. You wont find too many out there like this.
Going to need some more investigation with a brief description like that, but this Quattro has a lot going for it. Â It’s clean in and out, and the sub-100k miles is a very positive place to start. Â I like the black molding instead of the singular exterior color a lot of these have, and the great Borbets are very fitting. Â The one holdup here is the price; $7500 seems like a bit rich to start bidding for this 20 year-old Audi spacenugget, but perhaps further investigation will show that it’s even nicer than the ad suggests. -NR

I thought they all came to the states with the normally aspirated 20v 5-cyl?

is this red audi available or sold?
Probably sold, it was an ebay auction that ended 10 months ago.
One thing that most people don’t know about this car is that it is now a collector’s item car. I purchased mine (91′ Coupe Quattro) about 5 years ago. It was in decent shape but had some issues. A/C and heat went out almost immediately. The drivers side window regulator has been replaced twice and is already on its last leg unless I get in there and fix it again. The windshield came cracked, for which I found a factory glass replacement. More recently the injectors went out, near impossible to find replacements. 034 Motorsports carries a fantastic solution to that problem, which is now installed and works great. Also 034 Motorsports caries a turbo kit for the 7A engine that came stock for this car. Why did I purchase this car? Out of shear love for the Audi coupe. This car continues to amaze me around corners and the snow, pfft, I wouldn’t drive anything else. AMAZING!! The best reason I can say that I picked up the car was timing and mileage. 97k original miles. This car for the first part of its life sat in a garage for 3.5 years. The second owner had it briefly and had to return to South Africa. I’ve had it since as a project car. This summer I will probably be selling as a project car. The new baby comes first. Email me at Latentimage01@mac.com for details. Collectors item and 97k miles. This car’s value will only go up.
