There’s a lot of cars that I sit here and think if only they were still manufactured, they would still find buyers. One car that sticks out in my mind is the E38 BMW 7 series. While the 7 series that preceded it, the E32, pushed this model into the executive sedan mainstream, the E38 cemented BMW’s place in that segment. But then came the E65 7 series in 2002 which polarized BMW traditionalists with it’s avant garde styling and complex electronic wizardry. Time has passed and the criticism of that 7 series has softened, but one thing it won’t do is age as gracefully as the E38. Want to play CEO?
