2012 Porsche 911 Club Coupe

You might have a rare car, but do you have one of 12 rare? Well, technically one of 13 but I’ll explain that in a second.

This is a 2012 Porsche 911 Club Coupe. The story goes that Porsche produced this to commemorate the first 13 Porsche club members in 1952. Based on the 991 Carrera S, all were finished in Brewster Green over Expresso Brown leather and were equipped with the Powerkit, SportDesign bodywork, 20″ wheels with matching spokes, PASM, ceramic brakes, the Bose audio system, adaptive headlights, front and rear parking assist, auto-dimming mirrors, and aluminum trim. 12 lucky owners were chosen from a Porsche club raffle, and one of the 13 cars stayed with Porsche for their collection. Sticker price was around $140,000 and judging by the asking price of this one, it was money well spent.

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe

Crazy to think that the older 991-generation of Porsche 911 is now 10 years old. Time stops for no one and here we are. For myself, I loved and still do admire the 991. There is nothing conversational or risky about it, other than maybe it is a little large. However, cars growing in size aren’t exactly unique to Porsche, as every car has grown outside of the really niche models. If I had my choice, I’d have a 991 GT3 and call it a day, but for around $60,000 less, I’ll take today’s car: a 2012 911 Carrera S coupe.

I feel like I get déjà vu more often than not looking as so many cars, but usually write it off as a seeing similar cars and not seeing the actual same car that I thought I saw. You know what I mean. However, some cars as so unique that is it worth taking a few seconds to look back to make sure you actually aren’t crazy. Come to find out, I wasn’t crazy.

This 2012 Porsche Cayman R was featured by Carter exactly one year ago today and guess what? It is still for sale at the same dealership with the same mileage and exact same photos. Stale bread anyone?

2012 Maybach 62S Landaulet

I pretty much covered all the Maybach models that have launched since the brands rebirth except the biggest, baddest, and most expensive one of them all. It wasn’t for the lack of desire, but rather there are reportedly only 22 examples in the world so finding one for sale wasn’t exactly the easiest task. What is it? The 62S Landaulet.

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe

It’s hard to believe it took Porsche until the facelift generation of the 997 to utilize the GTS moniker on a 911 considering it started way back in 1963 with the 904 Carrera GTS. It had a nice run on the 924, 928, and even the Cayenne of all things before hitting the signature model 911. Strategically, it slotted in perfect between the Carrera S and the hardcore GT3 for the drivers who wanted more but not enough to rattle the fillings out of their teeth. Now, the GTS badge is literally on every model Porsche produces as the value is there for buyers and well, people see it as the true sweet spot of their model range.

Today we have a 2012 up for sale in today in the Bay Area with just under 8,000 miles on the odometer. On the outside you have the classic Basalt Black Metallic, while the interior is covered in Carrera Red leather. This is a special one.
