Another clean 1984 Audi Coupe GT popped up, so I figured it was worth a look! This one is claimed to be a one-owner car, and I believe the color is Sapphire Blue again. Neat!

As you’ve probably seen the classic car market take off these cars are on the rise, check out Hagerty’s market report here:
In an effort to not over describe it, this was a weekend 3rd car weekend and is really nice, with good history, serviced, and maintained at whatever cost it took including repainting the car . It was brought to us when the odometer stopped working and turned out to be the gear slipped of the shaft in the head unit so the mileage is right on now which is reflected in the Carfax. We encourage you to come see the car and drive it home its that nice .
Disclaimer: This is an auction to bid to win, not to bid and then get approval from a significant other, financing, come see the car, etc, please get all of that out of the way before you place your bid as its a bid to win and expected to follow through as we will as well. Please see our feedback it will help you be assured this is a nice cool sports car accurately described.
The seller claims it’s Oceanic Blue, but that’s a very different color. The seats also don’t look quite right to me and I think are out of a different model, and it’s got some aftermarket badges on it. Still, this looks like a pretty clean classic – it will be interesting to see if the reserve is met. If you need a deep dive on the model specifics, check out my recent post on a similar car.

These are great driving cars. I owned an 82 Coupe …bought it in 84. My only reason for selling it was the cost of repairs.
eBay shows sold for $9,990. Congratulations to buyer and seller! -dc
