1989 Mercedes-Benz 260E

The W124 Mercedes-Benz E class was one of those rare instances where the replacement for a legendary model, the W123, almost surpassed its predecessor’s reputation for solidity and reliability. One of the lesser known models was the entry level 260E, or later 300E 2.6, with the same engine as the W201 190E 2.6. Clean, early W124s are becoming more rare, and I was surprised to stumble upon a well maintained one owner example right in my backyard.

1989 Mercedes-Benz 260E on eBay

Up for auction is a perfect example Mercedes E260, legendary W124 in superb condition. I deal with a lot of older Mercedes vehicles and this one is one of the best I have ever had. Mercedes has a real reputation for building some of the safest and most reliable vehicles on the road and this one is no exception. Mercedes vehicles are known worldwide for their reliability and durability. This Mercedes is truly masterpiece in design, engineering and quality. This vehicle was assembled in West Germany. The quality of this vehicle is without any questions, the best. Mercedes vehicles are assembled with precision, knowlege, love and pride. I can tell that the previous owner took care of this Mercedes with the same attributes. I can say and even provide real statistics that the quality of this vehicle easy surpass any Japanese vehicle without any doubt. Please take a look at this beautiful Mercedes E260. This car was definitely garaged since it left the assembly plant. This is because the quality parts and assebly. No rattles or any strange noises. The Vehicle drives like a small tank. The interior of this car smells like new. People who ever had an experience with Mercedes cars should be familiar with authentic smell of Mercedes interior. When you sit down, please look around, close your eyes. You will smell the real wood and rich leather only produced using the best components available on earth. It can be fully opened or it can be opened in vent position. Simple and genius. Since this car was garaged most of the time, there is no rust on vehicle at all!!! The are no dents on the body and no paint work! This Merc was never envolved in accident.

Everybody knows that the price for the gas these days is not a joke. This vehicle has inline 6 cylinder engine. This engine gives you great fuel economy and at the same time it is powerful enough to move this vehicle quickly. This vehicle is very economical on gas. The engine starts and sounds perfect. The engine has an excellent sound. When you drive it, you know that you drive Mercedes and be proud of it! Transmission shifts the way it should in proper manner. All electronics work properly. Visual Display Organizator does not have any “check engine” light. All power doors work as they should. All the interior light work as they should. I would define this car as showroom condition. Also, this car has a low milage and Auto Check shows very high score. This is a original milage vehicle. This is also one owner car. This car can be purchased for daily use or as a collection to your garage. This is your chance! This vehicle is true Mercedes. It is built like a small tank. Low Milage. Garage kept. It has a real steel, wood, leather and other high quality components. Made in Germany. Good luck bidding on this beautiful Benz. I will also take reasonable offer. I can also assist a shipping for this vehicle.

I really enjoy watching these no reserve auctions as it’s a great, up to the minute indicator for the used market. I really like this 260E, because it is classy in a staid, unpretentious sort of way. The colors are right and with a good history, it should have many years left for a new owner to enjoy.

1 owner is good, East Coast road salt bad. Nice car that hopefully has had the wiring harness changed and doesn’t have head gasket issues.

I dont share your opinion on the “no reserve” auctions. Too many shill bidders, to many times they end the auction early because they dont like the bids too many games played on eBay for it to be a real indication on the market.
