For those of us who celebrate it, Christmas is almost here. What, then, would you like to see under your tree this year? I know it wouldn’t fit, but this one owner Mercedes-Benz 560SL in Signal Red for sale in New York certainly gets me in the festive spirit. A final year model with 70,000 miles on the clock, this particular SL is the perfect for the buyer seeking something in between a museum quality and high mileage driver example.

This is a one owner non smokers SL in the best color combination (Signal Red with Palomino). Very low miles and all works as it should. The A/C is ice cold and the heat is super hot. The tires are brand new, this comes equipped with the removable hardtop. The soft top is in excellent condition with no dulling or cracking on the windows. The top was replaced four years ago and I had it down maybe five times. The car has been dealer services its whole live and the oil changed every 4,000 miles. Don’t pass up on this classic. What a pleasure to drive. Thumbs up everywhere you go. Overall it’s a beautiful Mercedes. It has a few chips as show in the pictures and a couple of small dings – the paintless dent guys can remove. Otherwise it looks great for a 25 year old Mercedes.
We featured a low mileage 1989 560SL last month that sold for $24,101. Given what we saw with that car, and others, I’d suspect this example will probably fetch somewhere in the $15,000 to $20,000 range, probably at the higher end of that, given the one owner status. For us East Coasters, it’s not the most opportune time to be thinking about a convertible, but imagine the anticipating leading up to springtime with this piece hibernating in your garage this winter.
