If you haven’t noticed yet, here at GCFSB we tend to prefer wagons (or estate cars as you may know them) over sport utility vehicles. One of the reasons is that so many good five-doors have emerged from Germany over the years. The first ever Mercedes-Benz estate built in numbers, the W123 T, or T-Modell, as it was known, was a hit. Its successor, the W124, has been equally revered for durability, luxury and competence. It’s hard to find a W124 estate in good shape, so whenever a good one comes along, like this late model 1994 E320 for sale in Vermont, I sit up and take note.

Selling my 1994 E320 Wgn. The car is in immaculate condition inside and out with 83k miles. This car has never seen a winter and has always been stored in a heated garage, there is not one spec of rust anywhere, including the brakes and the undercarriage. You will not find a cleaner one anywhere. It has the third row seats. It comes with the Mercedes carpeted floor mats as well as Weathertech rubber mats and a Weathertech cargo liner. Brand new tires. It has an iPod adapter wired into the factory stereo that works perfectly. Everything works! Including the power headrests and power telescoping steering wheel. Engine runs like new, the transmission shifts perfectly, the suspension feels like new and the interior looks like new. NON SMOKER!! The previous owner was a VP at Merrill Lynch Investments and this car was stored at his summer home here in VT, he was a meticulous individual which is shown by the condition of this car. I took as many pics as I could, if you would like more just let me know. If you bid on this car you will NOT be disappointed, it is as described, IMMACULATE. There is no reserve! Thanks for bidding and good luck!

The odometer may be slightly higher as I am driving this car. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as I do have it for sale locally as well. Any shipping is YOUR responsibility.
For a car that has lived in Vermont, the fact that it has seen little winter action and has always been garaged is rather remarkable. The majority of us GCFSB’ers have either resided or currently reside in the Northeast, so we’re familiar with how difficult it is to keep a car in good shape as the years pass. Kudos to the seller for his fastidiousness. This is a very attractive buy at $7,500. One thing worth checking would be to see whether the wiring harness was replaced, as this was a known issue with the M104 engined W124. Other than that, if this car checks out to be as good as it looks, I doubt it will last long.
