2013 Porsche Boxster

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but if you are looking for bang for your buck, Porsche is not your brand. You are paying for much more than power, at least that want Porsche wants you to think and how we justify buying them, but it is true to a large extent. Everything just seems “right” despite not having the biggest numbers on paper and that is what keeps people lined up around the block to buy them.

Today’s car, a 2013 Boxster up for sale in Cleveland, Ohio, actually has a fair amount of value for what you are paying for it and brings a little flare with it as well. You see that red leather cabin.

Full red leather interior very rare as well as heated/vented seats. Originally an Arizona car. Major service at dealer at 76k. Fresh synthetic engine oil/filter. Newer front rotors/pads. Four Michelin (Pilot Sport 4S) with a decent amount of life left. 20” rims. Bi-xenon lights. Can provide shipping nationwide at buyers expense. This car is the right one. Treat yourself!

As the years have gone on, I’ve really warmed to the 981 platforms both in the Cayman and Boxster – no doubt thanks to the silky smooth flat-six powerplants and total package they offer. Even now as these cars are growing over 10 years old, they still can be used almost everyday and have more than enough amenities to keep you happy.

As for this example, I really dig it. The crazy Carrera Red leather is also fun to see and the matching red top is a nice touch as well. This one even has some other nice options like the 20″ Carrera S wheels, the Premium package, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS, a SportDesign steering wheel, and heated and vented 14-way power sport seats. All that for $36,000. Yes, this car has 86,000 miles, but you are buying this one to drive and enjoy. I’d have no problem owning this one even though it is just the base Boxster, mainly because the total package really does it for me. Maybe I’m not alone here.

Really not a bad deal at that price, despite the mileage….my old 79 911SC was silver with the lobster interior….I like that combo

This would be a great retiree weekender if priced slightly better.
