I really think the next few years is going to be interesting for the E9x and F8x M market. The fourth generation were already on the rise over the last few years, but the combination of the recent G-Series launch coupled with M market mania means that the recent ones have been retaining very strong asking prices. I’ve looked at a few F-Series Ms recently and the details mostly don’t change – but if you’re interested in the basics, I looked at a few Yas Marinas back in January:
Today I want to take a peek at a 2016 M3 sedan in an unusual, but subtle, tone:

A ton of info offered by the seller, am I right? Well, this is claimed to be a one-owner 2016, and it’s the configuration I’d opt for – a manual sedan. The color is Champagne Quartz Metallic, which I don’t recall seeing previously, but it was a standard color option on the M3. Inside in black Merino leather and options include navigation, Harman/Kardon sound, a head-up display, carbon-fiber accents, heated front and rear seats, xenon headlights, Park Distance Control, and 19″ wheels.
Miles are in check, there’s nothing outstanding on the AutoCheck report, and condition appears to be great. I’d probably prefer a slightly more basic M3, but something about the understated color on this one really grabbed me. Better still, the asking price is more in line with where it should be – mid-40s seems a lot more reasonable than the 55k-60k asks I’m seeing on a lot of other F80s. This one seems like an undercover deal right now.

Definitely one of the better grey’s on the market. I like the amount of color that shows up in the sunlight. Lovely description too so wordy!
Funny you should post this, as I’m looking to get a F80 M3 to replace my 2004 E46. There are a lot of manual transmission F80s listed on cars.com
