Afternoon Accessories: E34 M5 Euro M-Tech Cloth Sport Seats

One of the items that grabs the attention of some M enthusiasts are the small details that didn’t make it to the U.S. on European M-models. In today’s case, this would be the cloth seat option called M-Tech cloth; it’s been equipped in a few European market M5s we’ve written up, but I haven’t seen a set of seats like this for sale in a while. While it’s unlikely many M owners would want to swap out their original leather seats, I can see these ending up in a neat Euro-build 540i or something similar::

If you’re into neat, rare Euro cars, you’re into neat, rare Euro details, and this is one of the best. Sometimes you have to have something just a little different, and these seats certainly fit the bill. The condition appears impressive and the seats are manual and cloth making them a little lighter. Sure, they’re not cheap, but you’ll certainly stand out at the next BMW meet…
