1974 BMW 2002 Touring – REVISIT

509

The stunning 1974 Fjord Blue 2002 Touring, reportedly built for a BMW executive with some rare options like the unique sliding roof, has reappeared on eBay. The reserve is on and the auction has garnered no bids at a $25,000 opening price. While that’s pretty steep for a 2002, this is certainly one of the most special models that is out there. What do you think it’s worth?

2004 BMW M3 Dinan Supercharged – REVISIT

509

I posted a couple of Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3s yesterday that looked like they were owned and modded by a couple of similarly-minded fanboys. Today, we’ll shift gears and look at one of the most tastefully and maturely modified E46s out there (chrome exhaust surround notwithstanding). Carter featured this car for Tuner Tuesday earlier in the month and it’s received the full Dinan treatment, earning enough points via supercharger, exhaust, suspension, and more to get the official Dinan badge. The badges sit on a custom and beautiful red paint job, with CSL nods in the wheels and trunk spoiler. It has only covered 40k miles in its 10 years and was honored with the cover of BMWCCA’s “Roundel” magazine a couple years back. The seller says its “generally considered to be one of finest E46 M3 in the country,” and it’s hard to argue against that.

1985 Porsche 928S 5-Speed – REVISIT

509

We can’t get enough of the 928s today. The seller of the great condition 1985 Porsche 928S 5-speed has contacted once again to let us know he reduced his price to $15,999. With recent mechanical work and tires and an overall impressive condition, these mid-generation 928s are great performers that still look amazingly fresh even 30 years later. While you may be able to find a cheaper non-S model or automatic, these 5-speed 928Ss are certain to appreciate in value over the coming years and provide plenty of entertainment along the way. If you’re looking for a no-excuses, no stories foray into classic Porsche ownership this is a fantastic option. You can contact the seller if you’re interested directly at cvisconage@gmail.com or phone 410.218.7712.

1977 Mercedes-Benz 350SLC 4-speed Euro-Spec – REVISIT

After several relistings since I initially wrote it up back in May, this 350SLC is back up on the auction block. There was an claim that some of the 350SLC cars came badged as 450SLCs, making this car appear original, though I can’t find any proof of that – does anyone know better? Miles are very low, condition appears good and this would certainly be a fun package that would last – but the asking price is fairly steep at $19,000. What do you think this car is worth?

1977 Mercedes-Benz 280SE Euro-Spec – REVISIT

The awesome looking 4-speed 280SE from 1977 that I wrote up in late July has reappeared on the marketplace, having not sold the first time around. This car appears to be really unique and well presented and would certainly turn heads at any show. I especially love the AMG-spec wheels and Euro-goodies that slim down and beef up the S-Class just a bit. At $12,000, this seems like a good deal for a great vintage Benz:
