1995 Porsche 968

I remember my uncle telling me he found my first car, a 1988 BMW 325is, on the used car lot of a Cadillac dealership. Not exactly where you’d expect to find one of these German icons from the ’80s, but you really never know where a car you lust after might turn up unexpectedly. Case in point this final year Porsche 968 for sale at a McLaren Toronto. While it might get lost amongst all the high end machinery on the lot, for the Porsche purist, this is one car that will stand out. Originally a US market car, this car made its way to Canada last year. While it wears a repaint in Black Metallic, mileage is under 50,000. With only 624 968s sold in the US and Canada in 1995, this is a chance to join a rather exclusive club.

If yesterday’s low mileage S6 Avant wasn’t enough fast wagon love for you North American fans, I have just the cure. Wagon Week: 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Estate

When I think German station wagon, one thing comes to mind for yours truly. Mercedes-Benz. Specifically, the E-class T-modell, as it is known in its native Germany. In the late 1970s, the W123 T-modell would be the first factory produced five-door and would prove to be a popular hauler stateside, with production lasting into 1985 and many of these cars still roaming the streets to this day. The W124 300 series would then succeed the W123, which would later be renamed the E-class for the 1994 model year. Thankfully, the E-class estate is still with us to this day in the US marketplace, available either in E350 4Matic form or in bonkersE63 AMG trim like the one we featured on Monday. So if an SUV doesn’t float your boat, then you still have the option of going with a good, old-fashioned wagon. Provided you have the funds. If not, this 1995 E320 estate for sale in Quebec might be more up your alley. Originally a US car, this E320 was imported to Canada three years ago. Sure, it has 150,000 miles on the odometer, but this well-kept example has a lot more life left to give.

1995 BMW M3

While the first generation BMW M3 kept a lot of its DTM racing roots in tact, the second generation E36 M3 moved the chains a bit. More power was dialed in but a bit more softness was added to the equation. Gone was the high strung, race derived 2.3 liter four-cylinder powerplant in favor of a six-cylinder engine that was related more closely to its lesser siblings than any other M engine had been before. Still, 240 horsepower was nothing to sneeze at in the mid 1990s. This 1995 M3 for sale in Connecticut represents the first year of US sales for this sports car icon. Its odometer reads less than 50,000 miles and it has the super desirable M Cloth interior.
