One of my favorite movies from my youth was PCU. Kind of like an Animal House for the early 1990s, there were a lot of college hijinx in this flick, one of which included the destruction of a similar BMW 325i Convertible that we see here. Painful to watch for any E30 fan, surely. If you want to relive some eighties memories with what is possibly one of the icons of yuppie transport for the era, this Brilliantrot 325i Convertible with desirable 5-speed manual gearbox and under 88k miles is for sale in Northern Virginia.

Up for sale is a beautiful BMW E30 325i Convertible, Brilliantrot with low miles. The car is in perfect shape in and out. It is a rust free car and original paint (all panels have VIN tags). It’s all original and unmolested, something that is very hard to find.
Exterior of the car is very nice and shiny. It has a crack free dash and seats are in very nice shape. Engine runs very strong and smooth and transmission shifts through all gears very smoothly. Clutch feels very solid and strong and shifter also feels very tight. Tires and rims are in very good shape (14″ BBS).
Top is manual and is in great condition and rear window is very clear unlike all other convertibles and carpet is clean and free of any kind of stain. Stock radio and power antenna works fine, everything in this car works as it should including the power door locks, power windows, AC, heater, heated seats.
Under the car is very clean and dry and there are no leaks of any kind. It has a limited slip diff (LSD) that is in very good shape. The car is used and is being sold as is. Feel free to contact me with your questions. I am a 100% positive feedback eBay member so bid with confidence.
Besides the M3, the one E30 that seems to be consistently bringing strong money is the 325is. The open roofed variants have lagged a little behind, probably due to their slightly muted sporting pretentions. Could these be the next E30s to take off in popularity? Who knows, but for now, especially in the colder months, they offer a lot of fun for reasonable value.

What’s up with the seats? Besides the driver-side bolster completely worn through, are those water stains on all the seats?
I remember when my dealer used to service my E30M3…the techs would all gather around the lift when one of these was going up….they flex like nobody’s business…the extra supports did not make their way into BMW drop tops until the E46…..
