1992 BMW 318i Individual Convertible

I’ll be honest, I don’t particularly enjoy summer. I was happy that I was sent to South Africa for half of the month of August for work, as their winter season is much more agreeable with me than the hot and humid east coast summers here in the US. Now that fall is right around the corner, its the one time of year I would thoroughly enjoy a convertible. This 1992 BMW 318i Convertible is one of a few treated to the Individual program, with Neon Green paintwork, color matched basketweave alloys and M-Tech interior.

Up for sale is a very rare e30 in neongruen (neon green in German). This is 1 of 25 built for the Canadian market. This special edition, also known as the M design edition, which was a rare option in 1992, features neongruen paint work with colour matched wheels and a rare green M-Tech interior in great shape with just a little bit of wear on the M-Tech 1 steering wheel and drivers side bolster. A period correct pioneer deck was installed and works flawlessly. This 318i is equipped with the rev-happy 4 cylinder m42 motor which has had all fluids changed (coolant, oil, transmission, diff). This car has spent all of its life in the Pacific Northwest and has zero rust. Low miles 220xxxkm or 136xxx miles. There are a few small rock chips on the front end, along with a few parking lot dents that a good pdr guy would be able to get out. The convertible top is in good shape and does not leak, I believe it was replaced in 2004. Clean title. All maintenance is up to date.

The convertible with the four-cylinder motor is certainly not the most powerful E30, but with the 5-speed manual gearbox, you’ll be able to make the most of what this car has got. We saw a nice 1992 318i Convertible sell for $7,400 last year with similar mileage as we see on this car, so the price here is certainly strong, even considering the rare spec. This Individual trim might be bold for some, but a convertible is all about having some fun. So you might as well throw some color in the mix to brighten your day.
