1995 Audi S6

2021 has been the year of the C4 S6 Avant here at GCFSB; I’ve written up several different varieties, including a few European-market examples:

1995 Audi S6 Avant Euro-Spec

It’s no surprise, as the Avant generally draws the crowds, attention, and asking prices. But there are also a lot of really nice sedans still out there to be had, and today’s early S6 certainly looks like shining example of that. It’s a Tornado Red over Ecru model with just 112,000 miles. In Audi terms, that’s barely broken in! Let’s take a look:

Vehicle Details

Audi 2.2t aan 5 cylinders. Timing belt and water pump were replaced at 110.000 miles. New injector coils and harness, valve cover gasket, bbs r18 with the new tires, second set of rims with original r16 and new tires as well. Comes with the second ecu. Everything works. Feel free to ask any questions.

Well, there’s not a lot to go on, but it surely does look clean in the photos. The B6/7 BBS wheels are an interesting addition and don’t quite fit properly in either look or specification, but the seller claims that there’s a second set of 16″ wheels included…which, a bit of googling reveals, are likely the Avus wheels. That’s because the car turns up on a salvage auction site claiming right-front damage, though truth told I can’t see much of anything wrong. The car has been cleaned up, tuned up, and has a recent timing belt service. So is it now a 15k example? Well, I suppose you can curse missing the original opportunity to purchase it, but here we are. Presuming the timing belt service and other work was done well, this should be a relatively turn-key example with lower mileage. I’d still wager the price is ~20% high, but finding clean C4s is not getting any easier.

That is a very nice looking engine bay! Needs some underbody shots.
