1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Estate

$_57

If the 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300TE 4Matic we featured this week seemed a bit too lairy in terms of upkeep, how about this rear-drive 1995 E320 Estate for sale in Nebraska with similar mileage? These E class wagons have an uncanny way of blending class with durability at the same time and have an endearing aura about them. Every time I come across one on the street it’s like meeting up with an old friend.

Smoked Silver over Tan, this is an ultra-clean example. It has been enthusiast owned and driven since it was new. This car has had all of the major repairs done. Complete transmission overhaul and cylinder head gasket replacement less than 5,000 miles ago. Stereo upgraded to Bluetooth capable unit for hands free phone operation. Everything inside works just as its suppose to, but fuel gage doesn’t read until the car is warmed up, but once a few minutes goes by it reads correctly. This Touring wagon needs nothing, completely mechanically restored and ready to go anywhere. There also is a minor scratch in the passengers side rear of the wagon that cant be seen in the pictures. And also a 2 inch crack in the wood grain that can be seen in pictures. Any question contact me at 402-250-2506 Mark

Here is a list of some of the things that have been done to the wagon within the last year:

A lot of work has been done to this car, but there’s no mention whether the wiring harness has been replaced, as these W124s came with the notorious biodegradable wiring insulation that would break down over time. From the looks of this car, I’d suspect something like this has been addressed but it’s worth double checking. The starting bid is right around what one could consider reasonable for a late model W124 estate with this kind of mileage in this condition. Last month, the 1994 E320 Estate we featured was advertised at $5,999. That car had a little less mileage on the clock but appeared to be just a tad bit rougher around the edges. My guess is there would be a little bit more bidding action if the starting bid was closer to the $5,000 mark.

Fantastic cars. I just sold the exact same car, same colors in and out, except with leather instead of Tex, as seen here. It belonged to a customer of mine and he had bought it from me about five years prior. In the intervening years, we did a head gasket, water pump, wiring harness, new accumulators for the rear SLS and normal routine maintenance. He kept the car immaculate but piled the miles on in short order. He added about 100K on the car in those five years.

In any case, it had 192K when I bought it back from him and within a week, it found a new owner–another customer of mine, who’s running the car between Ohio and New York on a weekly basis and loves the car. He paid $4,500 for it, BTW.

Can someone refresh my memory. Where the headlight wipers optional after ’94? I’ve seen a lot of E320′s without them.

The headlamp wash system was always optional, hence why you see it on some models and not on others. I want to say it was SA code 600 if memory serves.
