It certainly seems like the first-generation Cayenne GTS is here to stay as a desirable vehicle. That is rather evident seeing the prices compared to the standard Cayenne and Cayenne S of the same years and things really start getting crazy when talking about a nice GTS with a 6-speed gearbox. The automatics certainly always trade less, but still not what what would I would call “cheap.” Still, if you could buy an SUV around $20,000 and not lose anything in depreciation, would you?

This 2010 up for sale in Chicago has a neat look with the rare Sand White and matching Sand White wheels that were a $2,200 option. Personally, I am a big fan of color-matched wheels as it harkens back to the wild 1980s and a lot of our glory days, myself excluded. This one also has another $23,000 in options like Porsche Entry and Drive, the big sunroof, ParkAssist, and more. Generally, a rather well-equipped example. However, no word on any service or repairs that might be needed. As cool as these are, they are still a Porsche with expensive needs. These love to eat driveshafts for some reason, along with every other consumable. I caution everyone interested in one of these to get a proper PPI as many things can be lurking with these that aren’t always visible.
The one is priced right under $21,000, which I think is high given the mileage. High-teens is probably a better spot given you know you are probably looking at a few grand in sorting alone, along with the fact that this one was treated as daily driver. I think if you could get it as a reasonable price, you won’t lose much when it comes time to sell.

White on black is only the “best color combo” if you are looking for a boring color combo. Who on earth would ever spec white wheels? All they’re going to show is dirt and brake dust.
Nice to see a first gen face lift model here. If I was buying one I would like to have the PDCC like this has but also the rare natural leather interior and the smaller sunroof. Touaregs are a cheaper to buy alternative. I checked their website. They have a 2nd gen Cayenne diesel. Not a lot of those out there.
on this generation, you want to see that the cooling pipe upgrade and the center driveshaft bearing upgrade having been done, as well as the air suspension fully checked out. yes, too much $$ for 91K miles.
