2011 Audi S5

$_57

Auto show season is in full swing, and for the first time in my life I can’t remember being this unenthusiastic about the current lineup of new vehicles. The cars I came across at my local show that I could envision driving daily numbered less than ten. Sure, some may call me old fashioned, but styling across the board seems contrived these days and the amount of technology jammed into cars these days is too much for my tastes. However, there are some bright spots. One of my favorite new cars of recent memory is the Audi A5. This coupe embraces good clean design. Kick it up a notch for the S5 and you’ve got brawn under the hood to match the beauty. Add a wild color you say? Well, this Glut Orange S5 is sure to polarize opinions, but I love it.

I am more than willing to discuss this car at length either in email or over the phone. I care a great deal about this car and want to make sure it gets sold to the right person.

I appreciate cars with the perfect balance of Sport and Luxury. This car is a testament to that. This is an adult-driven, well-loved car, and an excellent opportunity for any buyer who knows what they are looking at. Don’t hesitate to get in touch for any questions. Thanks for looking.

Part of the Audi Exclusive program, you certainly won’t miss this S5 coming or going, nor will you see another one for quite some time. Considering the mileage, the asking price for this S5 is high, even taking into account the level of options. The seller does seem quite open to discussing the car, which should put any potential concerns to bed. The S5 is one of those cars that’s on my short list for the future. I’ve always thought that I’ll probably opt for an Ibis White or Brilliant Black example, but after setting eyes on this Glut Orange S5, it ups the wow factor for me. I may have to revise my wish list.

Audi’s exclusive colors are so much better than their stock stuff.

Love the way it looks and the mods. But with miles approaching out of warranty, needing tires, and that color…..might be a tough one. And your Audi dealer is going to kill you on payments…great looking though…

I think this was an AudiWorld featured car.

I completely agree with your comment that the newer offerings from most manufacturers are too contrived and technical, but then again I’m getting on….. I think that is why I enjoy this blog so much. Keep it coming!

This car would be great with some Statis mods.

For kind of (or maybe because of?) its rather simple, clean lines – this car has such a mean, aggressive presence (especially in S trim). It’s one of few non-RS Audi vehicles that makes me audibly gasp when I see it on the street.

nice that it has a manual as so many are tips…
I like the color on this…yeah its going to limit you on resale….but I do like it…
having had some decent seat time in these….I like them a lot…but don;t kid yourself…they are heavy beasts..not nimble…but great HWY cruisers….I’ve been told that the RS is significantly better..haven’t driven one yet….
Audi scare the bejesus out of me when the warranty is gone…
