Just a few weeks ago I took a look at an M4 coupe run through BMW’s Individual department:
These wild colors have really proliferated over the last few years, and the result is that there are some pretty cool ones on the second-hand market. Case in point is today’s ’15 M4 convertible. It combines a neat color pallet (Peridot Green Metallic paint, Opal White leather, and dark red sycamore wood trim) with a manual gearbox and a convertible hardtop. Neat!

Intro
This is a 2015 BMW (F83) M4 hardtop convertible Individual in Peridot Green Metallic with Opal White Interior and Dark Red Sycamore wood trim. It is a one owner car purchased new from BMW of Columbia, South Carolina. It has approximately 49,600 miles. This is a 6-speed manual transmission car with the Lighting Package, with Harman Kardon CD player, heated front Seats, Navigation, optional 19″ Wheels with Michelin Super Sport tires. This very special M4 is in South Carolina.
Exterior
The exterior color of this 2015 BMW M4 is BMW individual Peridot Green Metallic ($5,000 option) with Shadowline exterior trim. It has the optional Lighting Package with adaptive LED lights and automatic high beams, Adaptive M Suspension with 19″ black light-alloy double-spoke (Style 437M) wheels and Michelin Super Sport tires, auto-dimming mirrors and exterior ceramic paint coating. Lowering the convertible hard top on this M4 takes about 20 seconds and includes a BMW wind deflector. The photos aren’t great, but boy is it a cool combination. Personally I love the splash of color from the wood trim inside, and the white leather looks inviting. Aside from having been run through BMW Individual, this one was otherwise fairly low-option – today, probably a good thing. Condition appears to be good and mileage is reasonable for a now 8-year-old convertible. Pricing? Well, it’s a bit above what some earlier M4 convertibles are coming to market at, but it’s also a pretty unique example and it’s not overpriced. This one looks like a pretty smart pick if you’d like a fast convertible and like the colors.

Price is at least $10k to high for year/mileage and no service records, which are must for these types of cars. According to the AutoCheck (which isn’t the same as having service records in hand), the last time this car saw any service was 2019(!), some 8k miles ago(!)
Gorgeous color combo ! Very bold to go with the ivory/white interior – I was debating going with this for my G80 signal green M3 but backed out at the thought of trying to keep it clean !
and it sure looks better than the current M cars…
Looks nice but as Jane Doe pointed out you want the service record book right from new it seems people in N America are not as concerned about this as Europeans . i personally would only consider a 1 owner car with full service records otherwise you don’t know what you are buying
The white seats are completely out of place with the gorgeous green exterior, black dashboard and carpet and red wood. Black or red interior would have been stunning.
These cars are very reliable, in my experience, but the maintenance schedule must be followed. I have a 2017 F80 M3 6MT with the CCB, with almost 50k miles and aside from scheduled maintenance and tires, it has needed nothing.
With this car, it’s gone at least 8k miles without an oil change and I shudder to think what else has been neglected. If I where to buy it, I’d insist on all service records, a PPI, and an oil analysis.
Done well and not a bad weekender however if it were mine I would powder coat the calipers to match the colorway better. The blue comes out of left field in the Green/Ivory scheme. Small and easy fix. Bring down the price a bit and you have yourself a decent toy.
