Another find from Watkins Glen. Not much info is provided and I wasn’t able to meet the seller, but he does provide an e-mail address, magnanimousmotorwerks@gmail.com, for those who are curious.
This is a 318i wagon that has received the gift of a Euro spec six with the individual throttle bodies, probably a 3 liter S50 out of a E36 M3. The seller claims 286 horsepower from the Euro mill. The car also has suspension and brake upgrades with parts from an E36 M coupe, TC Kline coilovers, Koni shocks and a 3.25 limited slip differential.
The car could use some cosmetic cleanup, this could be a jumping off point for some real custom work or leave it as is and use it as a unique track tow vehicle. Wagons with manual transmissions and power can always be entertaining.
The ask price is $11,000, but the seller is looking for an E30 M3 chassis, S50, S52, or S54 motors so maybe a trade can be had.
