I’m not really sure entirely why, but I’ve got a thing for rare wheels, especially when they’re wheels you don’t often see. Such is the case with today’s accessory – ultra rare in the United States factory option winter wheels for the B5 S4. Specially offset to clear the brakes yet narrow to support thin snows, these Speedlines are some of the prettiest factory winter wheels ever made in my mind. They’re elegant and while they’re narrow and small compared to what most people want, in my mind there is something immeasurably cool about wide fender cars sitting on narrow snow tires.

**DOES NOT COME WITH CENTER CAPS**
As the B5 S4 is going to move into collectable territory in the next few years, these will become one of those sought after factory details that sets the true enthusiast apart from the rest. Tracking down some center caps might be tough but the price is reasonable considering the rarity and the reconditioned status. Mount up some 195-50-16 snows and I’ll see you at the next winter driving school!

Cool find Carter. These would also enable someone to go with the more aggressive compound & tread design in a snow tire like the Blizzak WS-60 (vs their “high performance” LM-xx designs that bigger wheels mandate). I have had 4 different models of WS Blizzak’s under my belt and 2 of the LM, and my admiration of the WS models is correlated pretty well in Tire Rack’s independent testing (it’s all available on their site).
Randomly saw this, I think these are they?

I’m not at my laptop (my phone doesn’t let me play that video) but the description claims they are 17″ winter rims, which would not be these ones (unless they also made them in 17″?). That car is probably long since sold but I want to hear why that guy thinks his “Reaccaro (sic) italian leather seats” are made w/ Italian leather.
Brad, no, those look like replica RS4/Celebration wheels from what I can see. These Speedlines have a definite curve to them and pull under the centerline of the wheel towards the edge:
