2019 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring

Say the words “Nogaro Blue” and you’ll perk any German car fans ears. It first showed up on the scene back with the legendary RS2 Avant as RS Blue, but was later renamed Nogaro Blue and has been a staple in the Audi lineup both as a standard color and an Audi Exclusive option you could pay for if your dealer liked you enough. Not only that, but Porsche recently started taking paint-to-sample orders with the 991 even though they literally have handfuls of nearly the same shade of blue. Still, there is bragging rights when you have the Nogaro Blue and that certainly seems to be the case with today’s car.

This 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring finished in the paint-to-sample Nogaro Blue with a black leather interior and some very special CXX option Pepita seat inserts. From there you have a whole other slew of options like the Ceramic Composite brakes, an extended range fuel tank, a front axle lift system, Sport Chrono, Bose audio, and a pile of deviated stitching and extra leather. Who wouldn’t love this one? Well, what if I told you it had just 401 miles? Time to sell the house….

2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring

I wanted to swing back to the GT3 Touring market after seeing the example a few weeks ago get snapped up quick, along with a 1,000-mile example sell for way over sticker. Even with the 992 GT3 finally breaking cover as the worst secret ever, it is looking like the 991 GT3 Touring will be the one to have and to hold. Still, this is a gamble to pay over sticker price with the expectation that the price will always hold at that. Especially considering there is talk of a 992 GT3 Touring in 2023 with a traditional manual gearbox. Still, this is Miami Blue we are talking about. Worth rolling the dice?

2018 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

The winter months are here for some of us, but that won’t stop the seemingly never-ending offerings of Porsche 911s in wild colors. This 2018 Carrera 4S is finished in the slightly lighter hue of Riviera Blue with the matching brake calipers for extra points. Unlike Miami Blue that is an optional color on the 991 generation, Riviera is only reserved for the paint-to-sample program, so that means tack another $7,000 or so to the sticker. Of course, why stop there when it comes to the options, so a $112,000 base price for a Carrera 4S is now $156,970 when it is all said and done with the options. Now just 6,800 miles later, it is up for sale.

2017 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

If you are going to all-in on bright green, prepare to go all in. The greens that Porsche offered up back in the 1960s and 1970s were not for the shy and judging by the today’s car, it’s still that way. This is a 2017 911 Carrera 4S in paint-to-sample Viper Green and there is certainly no mistaking it. I can see why they called it Viper Green, because in a never-ending sea of cars in earth tones, seeing a car painted this color is like getting bitten by a viper. Okay, maybe that was an extreme comparison, but you get where I am going with this. Judging by the mileage on this car, it seems like the first owner didn’t like to be seen in this one.

2017 Porsche 911 Carrera

Miami Blue is an “all-in” color. Good luck trying to be low key in it. It screams “blue” and does so without looking like you just picked the brightest blue from the vinyl wrap place that just opened up two weeks ago at the abandoned gas station. As the years go on, more and more Porsches are coming in Miami Blue from the factory, including the Macan, so its not like you’ll be on your own out there. So while the exterior color is fine, what about inside the car? Just go with the standard black leather, right? Not so fast on this 2017 911 C2 up for sale in New York.
