2001 Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport

If you thought the 996 Porsche 911 GT2 was the final boss as one of the last “windowmaker” 911s, let me introduce the 911 GT2 Clubsport. Just 70 Clubsport-optioned 996 GT2s were produced, all for Europe, and were equipped with a roll cage, Recaro racing seats with six-point harnesses, a fire extinguisher, and a battery cut-off switch. Basically, this was a track-ready example without all the work of sourcing the parts. This one made its way to the US via a lengthy by renowned specialists JK Technologies of Baltimore, and is now up for sale in everyone’s favorite playground: Miami, Florida.

1981 Porsche 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport

One of the more surprising models ever to leave Stuttgart was the 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport. Yes, Porsche made a track-ready racer 924 that was originally destined as a homologation model for FIA Group 4 racing. It was a 924 Turbo with aluminum body panels, 16″ Fuchs wheels, 930 Turbo-style brakes, Bilstein coilover suspension, an integrated roll cage, plastic window treatments, 935-style seats, and a fire suppression bottle. Also it looked really menacing compared to the standard 924 Turbo. Only 15 road-legal cars were produced, which puts this in the rarest of the rare category when talking about the special cars from Porsche. Today, we happen to have one for sale up for sale in Miami with a crazy 37,000 miles on the odometer. Although that maybe isn’t so crazy after I tell you the price.

2007 Porsche 911 Turbo

One of the cars that seems to have turned the corner in terms of its valve bottoming out and is now on a rise is the 997 Porsche 911 Turbo. It seems for a handful of years these hung out well under $100,000, but never down under $50,000 like the previous generation 996 did. Everyone knew they were fine cars, but most preferred the facelift 997.2 for the upgraded looks, equipment, and addition of the PDK gearbox in place of the outdated Tiptronic box. However, it is now 2021 and everyone is going crazy for good used sports cars, so here we are.

This 2007 911 Turbo up for sale in Miami thankfully has the six-speed manual gearbox and is finished in a very sublime color combo of Lapis Blue over an Ocean Blue leather interior. The good news? It only has 26,000 miles. The bad news? That means it is expensive.

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera

Oh yellow, how will you make us feel today?

This 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera is wearing Racing Yellow, not to be confused with Speed Yellow, which is very clearly a different shade. Racing Yellow has a little lighter hue and a little more “pop” than what you are used to seeing. While some might not mind this color, I have to warn you the choice of interior leather probably isn’t what you are expecting. It seems to be why this example seems a little less expensive than the current market rate, so let’s peek inside and let me explain.

2016 Porsche Macan S

Last month Porsche announced a facelift to the current generation Macan that introduced some minor visual tweaks, some changes to the interior, and a power upgraded across all the engines. The most noticeable change was with the front fascia, which lets just say has resulted in mixed reviews. Still, the Macan is the butter on the bread of the Porsche lineup, as consumers love their mid-size crossovers even more than the Cayenne. Still, these are “buy, drive, and repeat every three years” kind of vehicles. No one is going to be nostalgic for a used Macan S that someone leased to drive to their cubical everyday, but that doesn’t mean people still don’t want them today. This particular 2016 Macan S up for sale down in Florida isn’t your normal lease-spec, and you are certainly reminded that when opening the doors to see what is inside.
