1991 BMW e30 M3 For Sale: Alpine White Driver with Tasteful Upgrades
September 27, 2008 by Dan
Here’s a nicely looked after BMW e30 M3 For Sale located in Bend, Oregon on eBaymotors. The Alpineweiss over Dove Gray leather looks really sharp. With a certified BMW mechanic as the previous owner, the 117k miles this car has appear to be well looked after and documented.
quote from seller’s eBay listing:
Purchased last Spring (2007) in near-stock condition from a local, certified BMW mechanic. 117,xxx miles (I’m driving it a few miles per week.) I own it outright, no loans nor liens. For those who seem to need to know: I’m well into my 40′s–not a kid racer.
No known accidents, no rust, and the VIN numbers all match (body to the fender panels).[...]
- Details on the Wheels: Staggered widths front to back: the much coveted standalone versions of the E28/E34 BMW M5 and E30 BMW M3 Evo wheels. 16×7.5 front and 16×8.5 rear! They have the distinctive flat lip of the Evo M3 and M5 wheels—with the polished finish, they look perfect on this car.
Those wheels do look really perfect on the car, though I would’ve had them detailed before shooting the pics!
With the economy official swirling down the bowl, do you think we’ll see a dip in e30 M3 values? Post a comment!
I’m going to add a new tag for Pacific Northwest since there have several tasty cars locally posted here recently.

It would be awesome if the skyrocketing E30 M3 market saw a little slowdown/dip… It’s the car I most desperately want, but I can’t rationalize $20k on a car when I could spend $3-4k and get a sweet GTI. I know they’re in different leagues, but is an M3 7 times better?
If they do dip, I’ll do what Warren Buffett says… buy low when other are selling!

I couldn’t agree more Nate! Although I want to know where I should look for one of those sweet gti’s you mentioned for 4 grand!

WOW, somehow this one sold for $12,300! If I had known the reserve was that low, I might have bought it!!

[...] CLEAN! It’s already bid at a bit over $12k (reserve not met) and has 8 days to go. The last e30 M3 I posted was a local PNW car and it sold for about the current bid. Granted it had more miles and it was difficult to tell the [...]

This car traded at 12.5k? if so that was a savvy buy IMO.

Well the auction ended and hasn’t been relisted. I don’t have first hand knowledge, but at that price I doubt it found a deadbeat bidder.
If it did, I need to let the owner know that I’d be happy to buy it for the same price!!
